Ovis Wildlife specializes primarily in life-size mounts and accept only 35 life-size projects per year on a first-come basis. Clients booking northern hunts years in advance are encouraged to reserve a taxidermy production slot for the corresponding year of their hunt to help ensure availability.

A $1,000 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your production slot. This deposit will be applied in full toward the final cost of the project, no matter the type of mount.

If you are unsuccessful on your hunt, your reservation deposit may be transferred to the year your hunt is officially rescheduled, provided we are notified before your reserved production year. If the hunt is canceled and not rescheduled, or the reservation is abandoned, the deposit is forfeited.

** NOTE: These species require additional attention/handling due to their delicate nature and higher risk of loss during field preparation, tanning, and the taxidermy process. Because of the increased time, labor, and risk involved, additional charges apply.

Additional charges for base/habitat/open mouth

50% nonrefundable deposit required upon receipt.

Bird/Fish/Reptile mounts are not offered through our studio.

35% fee for custom poses and extreme alterations. Excessive hide and antler/horn repairs will be at an additional cost that may vary depending on circumstances.

Timeline

Ovis Wildlife is a small business, therefore, quality is valued over expedition. We cannot control delays in tanning, shipping etc., and appreciate your understanding. When you bring your trophy to Ovis, we will do our best to give you a reasonable timeframe, but nothing is guaranteed.
